We have an opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our Pool Team
. You will assist our customers by processing orders, preparing correspondence, answering phones, and fulfilling customer inquiries with a goal of maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Communicate directly with customers to recommend spare parts, schedule service visits, and answer technical questions.
- Provide training to customers and maintenance personnel on operation, spare parts requirements, and safety of equipment.
- Track technical and service issues, and ensure all inquiries and issues are resolved completely, quickly, and efficiently.
- Manage the service needs of the company in terms of scheduling resources and trips to meet the demands of our customers and partners.
- Coordinate with management and other operational groups (including internal and external customers) to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of service and training activities.
Qualifications:
- EPA certificate is required, at a minimum.
- 3+ years of professional experience working in HVAC and/or equipment repair.
- Experience working with gas compression, refrigeration, gas recovery, and/or gas separation equipment is preferred.
- Experience working with industrial equipment for renewable energy, agricultural, brewing, dairy, and/or food and beverage, as well as technical equipment in military and/or heavy-industrial (e.g., oil and gas, refining, chemical, etc.) environments will also be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, and execute process corrections and improvements for installed swimming pool heat pumps.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
- The hourly pay for this role is $21.00 - $24.00/hour, DOE
. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
- 1st Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
- Overtime and possible weekends if needed
