Environmental Services Aide

Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the hospital environment. The role goes beyond routine cleaning, ensuring a healing environment that fosters patient well‑being.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across all hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Utilize equipment such as high dish washers, vacuums, mops, floor polishers and other tools to perform cleaning duties.
• Handle general office equipment and assist in maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Employ good communication skills and a detail‑oriented approach to tasks.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.
