Pay Range: $15.60/hr- $16.64/hr based on years of experience

Shift: Full Time Days - all weekends

What You Bring (Requirements)

1. Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.

2. Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.

3. Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing.

4. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

5. Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

1. Performs defined cleaning procedures, using various chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment, including:

a. Dusting/polishing and arranging furniture or equipment.

b. Mopping and polishing floors.

c. Vacuuming carpets and draperies.

d. Scouring and sanitizing sinks, toilets, tubs and shower areas.

e. Polishing plumbing fixtures.

f. Cleaning mirrors, lighting fixtures, doors, carpets and furniture.

g. Washing or spot cleaning walls.

h. Removing stains and debris from floors, carpets and furniture.

i. Removing, transporting and disposing of trash.

2. Replenishes paper products, hand soap products and wastebasket liners as needed during routine cleaning procedures.

3. Maintains housekeeping cart and utility closets in sanitary and orderly condition.

a. Replenishes cart supplies at end of shift in preparation for next day’s use.

b. Informs supervisor of supply or equipment needs.

c. Keeps storage areas locked with supplies properly stored according to established procedures.

d. Stores all germicides, pesticides and other toxic substances clearly labeled and locked away when not in use.

4. Follows established reporting procedures for the following:
