Perricone Juices is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for our Fort Pierce facility, to help lead and advance our operations. This position offers long-term stability and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor leads the day-to-day activities of the maintenance department to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all production, processing, and facility equipment. This role directs a team of maintenance technicians, sets priorities for preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures work is performed in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (SQF, FDA 21 CFR Parts 117 and 120, and applicable customer audit standards).

This is an exempt, supervisory role whose primary duty is the management of the maintenance department and its employees.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The following duties are representative of the position; other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

  • Supervise and direct the daily work of maintenance technicians and mechanics across assigned shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for production needs.
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Interview, select, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff; recommend hiring, discipline, promotion, and termination decisions.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and repair of production, bottling, cold storage, refrigeration, boiler, packaging, and facility equipment.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with SQF, GMP, FDA 21 CFR Parts 117 and 120, OSHA, and customer audit requirements (including Costco COC/SCS); support audits and corrective action responses.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, PM schedules, equipment history, and parts/inventory usage within the CMMS.
  • Manage maintenance parts inventory and coordinate with Purchasing on parts, supplies, and contractor/vendor needs.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Safety leadership to schedule maintenance work around production demands and minimize disruption.
  • Lead root cause analysis on equipment failures and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability (OEE) and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, and other safety programs are followed by maintenance staff; enforce safe work practices.
  • Manage department budget, control maintenance costs, and evaluate contractor/vendor performance for outsourced repair or capital work.
  • Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements as assigned.
  • Respond to and direct emergency equipment repairs, including off-hours and on-call support as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has direct supervisory authority over maintenance technicians, mechanics, and related maintenance department staff. The Maintenance Supervisor customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees (or their equivalent) and has the authority to hire, fire, promote, and discipline, or whose recommendations on these actions are given particular weight, consistent with the FLSA executive exemption.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or a related field preferred
