Overview

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a new challenge? Join our team in Fort Smith. We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders and perform preventative and general maintenance across our plant on 2 nd shift. This role is critical in keeping our machinery and equipment running smoothly to ensure maximum productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Conduct electrical and other general maintenance of building and grounds
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Scheduler to respond to work orders and provide dispositions
• Troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues quickly

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related experience in maintenance
• Ability to frequently and variably lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently
• Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
• Willingness to work different shifts and overtime as needed
• Experience in performing and managing preventative maintenance programs

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
