Position: 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Job Duties:

• Ability to supervise maintenance staff on shift.
• Ability to be a strong leader of a small group of people.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain cost‑effective practices that are compliant with quality policies and procedures.
• Plan and schedule shift needs; utilize employees, equipment, and materials to achieve quality products.
• Assign maintenance employees to jobs and instruct them in the proper procedures that ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Ensure plant safety by overseeing general working conditions.
• Ensure that all personnel are properly trained and fully understand the processes they are involved in.
• Ensure that all personnel have a complete understanding of plant good manufacturing practices and HACCP programs.
• Ensure that all personnel possess good communication skills and can effectively communicate with other departments.
• Ability to work with Quality Assurance and USDA.
• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are supported by all personnel.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, motors, machinery, scales, freezers, and other maintenance‑related parts and equipment.
• Report to maintenance manager as needed.
