You will be the F-35 Aircraft Mechanic for the Aircraft Maintenance Team which is responsible for keeping the F‑35 fleet flight‑ready and safe. This position is located in Fort Smith, AR.
What You Will Be DoingAs the F-35 Aircraft Mechanic you will be responsible for delivering nose‑to‑tail maintenance, launch and recovery support, and technical training to ensure the aircraft are always mission capable.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Conduct launch and recovery operations and full‑spectrum maintenance to keep the F‑35 fleet operationally ready.
- Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs of aircraft systems in strict compliance with directives.
- Execute field‑level modifications and manage Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance requirements.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to new team members, contractors, and international partners.
- Maintain accurate aircraft records in ALIS and communicate status to the production team.
- Uphold stringent housekeeping and safety standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. The position will require working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s). Position may also require extended work hours. Candidate must be able to acquire and keep a flight line driver's competency card.

BasicQualifications
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- Requires minimum of 2 years hands‑on working experience USAF, Navy, United States Marine Corps, or equivalent Aircraft maintenance or A&P certification.
- Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs
