Range Maintenance Technician; Motor Vehicle Operator

Duties

Install, operate, maintain, repair, and sustain in an operational status, a variety of target systems and components of systems.

Operate computer-controlled target systems console and execute scenario sequences for operations.

Operate and perform maintenance (to include operator level troubleshooting and making authorized repair/replacements) on AC/DC powered target devices.

Conduct operator level maintenance on Stationary Infantry Targets, Moving Infantry Targets, Stationary Armor Targets, and Moving Armor Targets.

Operate and maintain vehicle(s) assigned to the organization.

Cut grass, clean target pits, reshape target berms, service batteries, service target devices, and remove debris from training ranges.

Perform basic carpentry work as required.

Perform inspecting, cleaning, servicing, preserving, lubricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, testing duties; and making authorized repair/replacements.
