RolePerforms duties under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, primarily maintaining a clean, safe and well-functioning environment across all credit union facilities.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Sets up, breakdowns and/or moves furniture and equipment, performs maintenance tasks, repairs, cleaning projects, sheet rocking, and painting as directed. Visits all locations to inspect conditions looking for both interior and exterior maintenance issues. Checks in with branch/department managers to see if there are additional needs.
- Performs general groundskeeping duties and ensures equipment, irrigation systems and generators are in proper working order. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of exterior grounds including walkways, entrances and parking lots. Monitors buildings and property for safety hazards and ensures entrances/exits are accessible and secure. Reports unsafe conditions or required maintenance to supervisor.
- Performs monthly EFCU vehicle fluid level inspections and cleanings.
- Assists in mail room and supply and makes branch deliveries as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
One year to three years of similar or related experience. Must have 2 years' experience in building and grounds maintenance to include operating lawn maintenance equipment, cleaning equipment and mechanic tools. Must be able to perform a wide range of electrical and plumbing repairs and recognize when a licensed contractor should be engaged. Must be familiar with carpentry, sheet rock and sheet rock finishing.
EducationA high school education or GED.
Interpersonal SkillsWork involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other SkillsMust have good time management skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to ascend and descend ladders.
Must be able to lift and move 100 lbs.
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and have the ability to operate various vehicles to include those pulling a work trailer.
Must be willing to work varying hours and weekends as needed.
