Terms of Employment
This is a 12 month position and eligible for full benefits. Hours are 7 am - 3 pm. Pay is based on experience and/or education and ranges from $18.42 - $25.43/hour. Hours may vary due to school activities, summer work or inclement weather. May require overtime.
PurposePerform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; maintain equipment in functional condition; and provide cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors and others as necessary. Performs related duties and general maintenance work as required.
QualificationsKnowledge of cleaning and related custodial duties is desirable. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, machines, and equipment such as floor machines, vacuums, etc., is desirable.
Must be able to lift, pull or push 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. A 50-pound lift test will be required. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff and the general public. Must be able to get along with others in a team situation.
