Data Center Team Lead – Dock A‑Shift M‑F 6am‑2:30pm – 117094

Location:

USA – Fort Wayne, 5801 Adams Center Rd.

Industry: Terminal / Warehouse / Transport.

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight, managing shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers, quantities and ensuring pristine condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenish orders for critical spare parts onsite at the data center.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the data center floor with 100% accuracy using laser measuring devices.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware with hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate material‑handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to 5S standards.
• Push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday.

• Daily adherence to safety and process procedures.

• Attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Flexibility and cross‑training in multiple data center departments.
• Effective delegation and coaching skills.

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills; interact regularly with customers and stakeholders onsite.
• Critical thinking and strong analytical skills for confident decision‑making based on data.
• Computer proficiency and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, static‑discharge hazards, and related protocols.
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and operate equipment safely.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must pass required background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests.

Expected base pay: $24.00 hourly (range $24.00 – $24.00). Final compensation may consider experience, skills, certifications, and location.
