Morgan Properties is looking for a Make Ready Technician to join our team at Canterbury Green, a 2,000-unit apartment community in Fort Wayne, IN. Do you enjoy seeing the results of your work and preparing apartment homes for new residents? In this role, you'll help create an exceptional first impression for every resident by preparing apartment homes for move-in and maintaining the appearance of one of our largest communities.

- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new resident move-ins by completing make-ready tasks efficiently and with attention to detail
- Perform interior painting, drywall repairs, caulking, lock changes, light maintenance, and general repairs
- Complete service requests and assist with routine maintenance as needed
- Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, common areas, and amenity spaces
- Assist with preventative maintenance and support the maintenance team during busy periods
- Maintain shop organization, tools, and supplies while following company safety standards
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure apartments are completed on schedule and ready for new residents
Incentives:
- Base Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8 AM- 5 PM
- Must be available to assist with snow removal, emergency situations, and other property needs as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- One year of maintenance, make-ready, construction, or related experience preferred
- Experience with painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative maintenance team
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
