JOB SUMMARYResponsible for providing a safe and comfortable environment for all employees by maintaining the buildings and grounds in a state of good repair as a third-shift custodian. Responsible for cleaning various areas of the company's buildings.

- Perform custodial duties on nightly job checklist as assigned.
- Be alert to power failure, adverse changes in building temperature, water leaks, etc. and notify the unit leader/manager.
- Limit complaints to 4 per year, this includes but is not limited to recycling and trash containers, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Comply with the preparation of company cleaning solutions and safe use in accordance with company policy and Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Participate in meetings and OSHA training as scheduled.
- Maintain awareness and response to security alarms, door issues, and parking lots while on shift.
- Complete other projects as assigned.

- Must have reasonable hand-and-eye coordination skills.
- Must have the physical ability to lift and carry 30 lbs., bend, reach, and stretch to perform manual labor and lift and handle custodial equipment.
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials pertinent to the job. Must be able to read and decipher information on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and container labels and translate information into proper procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must have basic communication skills, ability to work well with others, and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Must have general computer abilities.
- Must be able to work flexible hours set by management when needed.
- Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, managers, and department staff members.
List Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and Certifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Some previous custodial experience is desired
