Maintenance Technician

Golden Years Homestead is looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to help with the day-to-day upkeep of our senior living community.

If you have some hands-on experience, enjoy fixing things, or are interested in learning maintenance and building trades, this could be a good opportunity to get started. Previous maintenance experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders
• Handling basic repairs and general building upkeep
• Painting and touch-up projects
• Floor care and other facility maintenance
• Helping with landscaping and seasonal outdoor work
• Keeping maintenance supplies, tools and equipment organized
• Following safety procedures and keeping work areas safe

You'll work as part of a team to help make sure residents and staff have a safe, clean and well-maintained community.

What you need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and outdoor tasks
• Maintenance, construction, landscaping or skilled-trade experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, daytime hours. The position also includes rotating on-call evening and weekend coverage.
