Maintenance Supervisor

Are you good at fixing things and leading a team? Do you enjoy keeping communities running smoothly and helping others? If so, we want you on our team!

What You Will Do
  • Lead the maintenance team – Supervise and support a skilled crew across one or more communities.
  • Coordinate daily operations – Schedule tasks, ensure homes are ready to rent, oversee after‑hours assignments, and complete service orders on time.
  • Stay on budget – Develop and follow maintenance budgets while monitoring spending.
  • Inspect and maintain the community – Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, conduct property inspections, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Foster strong relationships – Work with residents, team members, and vendors to create a well‑maintained, welcoming environment.
  • Ensure compliance and safety – Follow policies and company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Tackle special projects – Assist with additional responsibilities and property improvements as needed.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Strong leadership skills – Experience in managing, training, and motivating a maintenance team.
  • Technical expertise – Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Problem‑solving abilities – Able to handle emergencies and high‑pressure situations confidently.
  • Dependability and flexibility – Available for emergency repairs when needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks – Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy objects, distinguish colors, and work in various conditions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely

Employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. Eligible employees must be at least 21 years old and have worked for the company for at least 60 days.
  • Paid time off – Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
  • 11 paid holidays per year.
  • After six months of employment, you are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver or two weeks as a secondary caregiver. After two years, you are eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave as a primary caregiver.
  • Tuition reimbursement – Up to $5,000 per year of pre‑approved tuition expenses reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates before 24 months.
