Role Overview
As a Groundskeeper, you play a key role in maintaining an attractive, clean, and welcoming environment throughout the community. You are responsible for the general upkeep and appearance of the property's outdoor and indoor common areas, ensuring that residents, visitors, and team members always experience a well‑maintained, high‑quality setting. Your work directly contributes to the community's curb appeal, safety, and overall resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Maintain the property grounds in a clean, orderly, and visually appealing condition at all times.
- Perform daily cleaning of interior and exterior common areas, including routine and seasonal deep‑cleaning tasks as needed.
- Pick up trash, debris, and litter throughout the property and dispose of it properly on a daily basis.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks and support the maintenance team with service requests when needed.
- Provide support during resident events, community functions, and onsite activities.
- Identify and report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or areas needing attention to the appropriate team members.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, custodial work, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and property appearance.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team‑focused environment.
- Basic understanding of cleaning methods, tools, and safe material handling (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
