Seasonal Laborer – Groundskeeping & Facility Maintenance

Aqua Texas, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, is hiring a full‑time seasonal laborer available from May through August.

• Operate equipment and assist with the maintenance of grounds, facility custodial needs, and fire hydrant cleaning and painting;
• Load and unload equipment, chemicals and supplies at worksites and storage areas;
• Update and maintain documentation of work activities (data entry) and close work orders as needed in the operating system;
• Adhere to all safety and security policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe working environment;
• Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old;
• Must have a valid driver’s license;
• Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office suite;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules;
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, weather permitting;
• Must follow directions and implement safety procedures;
• Team player who can work effectively in a multi–tasking environment.

• Subject to extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid conditions, mechanical, electrical, gas exposure hazards, fumes, dusts, and mists;
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.;
• Travel to Essential Utilities and/or other constituent work sites.
