Maintenance Technician (Make Ready) – Seasonal Temp

Dallas‑Fort Worth Region, TX (multiple locations)

Job Overview: Weinstein Properties is offering a temporary, full‑time maintenance technician position available now through August. Opportunity to stay beyond summer if performance is strong.

Locations: Bexley at Grapevine – Grapevine, TX;
Bexley at West Ridge – McKinney, TX; 3

Sixty Flats – Grand Prairie, TX.

What We Offer

• Pay
  : $20.50/hour; $21.50/hour if EPA certified.
• Stay Bonus
  :
  Up to $300 total ($100 each at 30, 60, 90 days).

Schedule

• Full‑time:
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours per week).
• Optional rotating emergency on‑call schedule, with additional bonus.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make‑ready process for vacant apartments.
• Assist with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Maintain property grounds daily and help keep overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and pride in work.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work‑order systems).
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Background check required.
