Compensation: $33.17/hour (approx. $68,990 annually)
The Facility Maintenance Technician (Tech I) is responsible for supporting the upkeep and repair of building systems within a warehouse-based Solutions Integration Center. This role focuses on maintaining the physical facility and infrastructure rather than production equipment, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general building maintenance and repairs across the facility
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems
- Support upkeep of warehouse infrastructure, including doors, dock areas, and structural components
- Complete routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Respond to service requests and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers as needed
- Utilize maintenance tracking or ticketing systems to document work performed
- Approximately 3+ years of building or facility maintenance experience (flexible based on overall fit)
- Hands‑on experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Basic electrical skills
- Basic plumbing skills
- Experience maintaining facility infrastructure (not production or manufacturing equipment)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks
- Direct experience with dock doors, dock levelers, or high-volume warehouse environments
- Background working on a dedicated warehouse maintenance team
- Experience with vendor coordination or service management
- Familiarity with maintenance ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now)
- Additional hands‑on troubleshooting experience beyond foundational skills
- Relevant certifications or licenses (not required)
