Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions, assisting with the repair and maintenance of attractions and associated equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
• Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain attractions in superior working order
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and back‑end
• Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist the supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules
• Advise the supervisor on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance of attractions
• Work various shifts; regular attendance is required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED, or minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required
• Work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays, as needed)
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools
• General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices

• Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions
• Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time (over two‑thirds of the time)
• Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs. (70+ pounds with the assistance of a dolly)
• Ability to wear personal protective gear
• Regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools (e.g., drills, ladders, chemicals)
