Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer focused bartender to join our team. As a Bartender you will be responsible for serving guests hard liquor/beer/wine during events while ensuring all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. Deliver excellent guest experiences and maintain a clean well stocked bar. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.25-$19.75 CAD and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly
  • Take drink orders accurately
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages correctly
  • Maintain a friendly, professional attitude at all times
  • Check IDs and verify legal drinking age
  • Monitor guests intoxication levels
  • Refuse service to intoxicated or underage patrons
  • Follow alcohol laws and responsible service guidelines
  • Keep bar area clean and organized
  • Stock and restock as needed
  • Handle cash & card payments accurately
  • Balance register
  • Communicate with all team members
  • Assist other co‑orders during busy times
  • Follow management instructions and policies
  • Know emergency procedures and follow instruction
Qualifications
  • Serving it right
  • Meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Comfortable working with cash, counting, make change
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, high volume bartending capacity
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability of to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25‑50lbs
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
