Job Overview
Neighborhood Service Manager responsible for the physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property. This role includes overseeing staff, managing the budget, coordinating safety training, managing capital projects, handling vendors and contractors, and maintaining inventory.
Responsibilities- Leadership - Hire, train, and mentor staff, resolve problems, and foster positive, productive relationships.
- Neighborhood Management - Manage the budget for maintenance functions, oversee safety training, capital projects, vendors, contractors, and inventory.
- Upholding Standards - Serve as a knowledge holder of company policies and an example of compliance with rules and regulations for safe and effective operation.
- Experience - Minimum five years in apartment maintenance and at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Customer Service - Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, neighbors, and the public.
- Availability - On‑call readiness and willingness to help outside of regular hours.
- Education - High school diploma or GED required; at least three certificates from related institutions such as BOMA, IREM, or vocational programs.
- Safety - Working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws and ability to read safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Physical - Ability to stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, listen, hear, and vision; lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Pay Range: $38.75 to $45.00 per hour
