Location:
Greater Phoenix Valley (Roving Position).
Employment Type:
Full‑Time, Salaried. Salary: $58,000 annually. Vehicle Allowance: $600 per month. Bonus Potential:
Up to 10% of base salary annually.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Regional Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance operations across a portfolio of multifamily communities throughout the Phoenix Valley. This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who excels at project coordination, prioritization, quality control, and customer service while maintaining strong technical expertise in multiple trades.
The Assistant Regional Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with Maintenance Coordinators, Community Managers, and Director of Maintenance to ensure timely completion of unit turns, work orders, preventative maintenance programs, and special projects. This role requires frequent travel between properties and the ability to manage multiple priorities across the portfolio.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintenance Operations & Project Coordination- Assist with overseeing maintenance operations across multiple communities throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Coordinate and assist with on‑call scheduling, on‑call routing, and emergency maintenance response.
- Work closely with Maintenance Coordinators to prioritize projects, apartment turns, preventive maintenance activities, and resident work orders.
- Manage and track multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Assist with scheduling vendors, contractors, and internal maintenance teams.
- Support the development and execution of preventative maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment across the portfolio.
- Track unit readiness and ensure turn timelines and budget standards are achieved.
- Conduct turn quality walks upon completion of apartment renovations and make‑ready activities.
- Inspect completed units prior to resident move‑in to verify readiness, including keys, locks, appliances, fixtures, and overall unit condition.
- Address post‑move‑in service needs and ensure resident satisfaction.
- Assist with lockouts and other resident service requests as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, amenities, and mechanical systems.
- Assist with overseeing maintenance of pools, spas, access gates, landscaping, irrigation systems, and trash programs.
- Identify maintenance deficiencies and develop action plans to address issues.
- Ensure communities maintain a clean, safe, and attractive appearance.
- Perform work orders and maintenance repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues involving:
- Plumbing systems
- Electrical systems
- HVAC systems
- Appliances
- Carpentry and general construction
- Pool equipment and maintenance
- Landscaping and irrigation systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, vendors, and team members.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with residents regarding maintenance requests and project timelines.
- Maintain a positive, solution‑oriented attitude while resolving maintenance concerns.
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years as a Maintenance Technician, Apartment Turn Technician, Service Technician, Make‑Ready Technician, Work Order Technician, or similar role.
- Minimum one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership position such as Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, or Building Engineer.
- Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, and competing priorities.
Technical Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance, carpentry, landscaping and irrigation, appliances, and OSHA regulations and safety standards.
