Shift: Days

Work Schedule: 8/80 work shift hours (hospital)

Pay Range: $23.00/hr

Position Summary

Performs a variety of housekeeping duties in order to maintain the hospital facilities in a neat, orderly, and sanitary manner. Cleans and moves furniture, equipment, and uses proper cleaning supplies according to established procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

Ability to safely and competently perform assigned duties.

Ability to follow through when given directions.

Ability to prioritize workload efficiently.

Ability to perform the basic cleaning functions within the patient setting.

Ability to perform job function utilizing safe practices such as, but not limited to:

Proper use of wet floor signs.

Safe biohazard waste handling.

Ability to respond to emergency situations involving either patient safety or building safety according to hospital policies, procedures, and/or regulatory requirements.

Ability to be at work and be on time.

Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and directives.

Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.

Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Qualifications

Ability to follow oral instructions and understand simple written instructions.
Able to follow a work schedule which may vary with assignments.
Experience in the hospitality field (healthcare preferred).
High School Diploma or GED, or related experience preferred.
Good command of the English language.
