Field Service Technician (Frankfort, KY)

Compensation: $35.90–$41.75 per hour based on skills and experience. A company cell phone, laptop, or credit card may also be provided for business use.

• Perform service, preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades, and refurbishment on forklifts, knuckle‑boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skip loaders, and hoists at external or Hiab locations, following Manager’s instructions.
• Adhere to applicable safety rules, working practices, and environmental requirements.
• Stay current with technical developments, complete technical courses as instructed by the District Service Manager.
• Respond to customer queries and concerns to maximize satisfaction, following Hiab Customer Satisfaction Guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and daily reports in the format specified by the District Service Manager.
• Identify sales opportunities, communicate them to the District Service Manager.
• Coach and tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary.
• Conduct self at all times in a manner that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follows quality system rules.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a 1‑year DOT medical card is required.
• Valid driver’s license and no more than one moving violation in the last year (or two violations within two years) are required.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical operations experience.
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Own tools required.
• Knowledge of, and compliance with, Hiab USA, Inc. operating and technical procedures and workplace instructions.
• Position requires 100 % travel.
