Custodian local manufacturing

Nashville Wire Products, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products for the material handling industry, is growing and accepting resumes for an experienced Custodian / Groundskeeper for our Frankfort, Kentucky location.

Base Hours are Sunday – Thursday 8:00 pm until 6:30 am.

Base start rate $19.50/hour, $20.75/hour at 90 days, and $22.50/hour at 1 year from full-time hire. Rates do not include $1.00/hour 3rd shift differential.

This position ensures our facilities are kept clean and in orderly condition. This position regularly cleans/maintains restrooms, lunchrooms, office areas and manufacturing areas within our facility. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• trash removal
• dusting
• sweeping
• mopping
• window cleaning
• organization of work areas
• tracking inventory of cleaning supplies

During a 10 hour shift this position regularly performs heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds) bending and stooping. This position requires standing on concrete floors for long periods of time, and may be subject to extreme temperatures as plant production areas are not air conditioned. Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.

Successful applicants must pass drug screen, and 7-year background check for misdemeanors and felonies.
