Job Title
Our client is seeking a full-time Content Creator to own the end-to-end production of video content that drives visibility, engagement, and brand growth.
This is a run-and-gun, highly hands-on role focused on shooting, capturing, and closing the loop on editing short-form video content that captures attention and builds momentum across digital channels. This person will act as a true creative partner to a small, young, and fun team, helping shape video ideas from concept through final post.
Responsibilities• Own the full video content lifecycle from concept through filming, editing, and final delivery
• Create short form, high impact video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram and Linked In
• Shoot content on an iPhone on site in Chicago, capturing real time moments, events, and brand storytelling opportunities
• Edit video quickly in Cap Cut or a similar tool with a focus on speed, volume, and engagement over perfection
• Write captions and post finished videos directly to Linked In and Instagram
• Support posting and email sending as needed
• Collaborate with leadership to identify content opportunities that support brand growth and visibility
• Bring creative ideas and a strong point of view on what content will perform and gain traction
• Maintain a consistent content cadence across social and digital channels
• Stay current on trends, formats, and editing styles within short form and social video
• Operate with a high level of ownership, managing projects independently from start to finish
Requirements• 0-2 years of experience in content creation, video production, or a related field
• Strong video shooting and editing skills with a portfolio or samples of work
• Experience creating short form video content for social platforms
• Comfort shooting on an iPhone and editing in Cap Cut or similar mobile-first tools
• Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud, along with basic design skills
• A strong creative eye and instinct for what captures attention and drives engagement
• Ability to move quickly and produce content in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to film on site in Chicago as needed
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
