Manufacturing Engineer
LHH is looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives for our client. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, optimize manufacturing processes, and support new and existing product designs. The anticipated salary for this role is between $80,000-$120,000 a year.
Responsibilities- Promote a workplace culture focused on employee wellbeing, collaboration, and sustainable growth
- Provide day-to-day technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues
- Evaluate and approve in-process changes to ensure product quality and consistency
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to manufacturability, cost reduction, and product performance
- Manage engineering projects focused on design enhancements and process improvements
- Coordinate and support engineering change processes for design updates
- Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for standard and custom products
- Validate new and updated designs through testing and data analysis
- Create and update technical documentation such as wiring and piping diagrams
- Review production work orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with design specifications
- Improve and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and build practices
- Develop CAD models and design solutions using Solid Works or similar tools
- Provide technical support across departments, including participation in meetings and responding to internal requests
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of thermodynamics and control systems
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- 1–3 years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related industry preferred
