* Position Summary:

* As a Maintenance Supervisor, where you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence across departments and shifts. In this position, you will provide technical leadership and support, empowering your team to succeed by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring they have the right tools, supplies, and equipment at their disposal. Safety is our top priority, and you will be instrumental in promoting a safe work environment while ensuring adherence to safe work practices.

You will proactively address personnel, mechanical, and resource-related challenges to maintain productivity and boost team morale.

By ensuring compliance with company policies, Maintenance and Quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), you will help uphold our high standards. You will guide your team toward achieving safety and productivity goals, manage labor and material costs, and oversee work orders using SAP and shift handoff documentation.

+ Train and develop associates.  Clearly explain and check to make sure others understand what is expected.  Build confidence in associates and provide one on one as well as team coaching.

+ Provide information and resources to the team to make decisions and solve problems.
Keeps team members apprised regarding administrative matters, policy, procedures, team/department performance and other

+ work-related matters that affect them through team meetings, shift start-up meetings, and one-on-one contacts. Documents incidents requiring disciplinary action.

+ Drafts procedures, schedule team members work schedules in Kronos, schedules vacations. Fills out supply requests, maintenance requests and other administrative forms.

+ Guide the team to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact).  Ensure the systematic review of all processes, and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law.

+ Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.

+ Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices.

+ Facilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM's, changeovers, etc.).

+ Support site as needed.
