Production Manager
Position Summary
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will drive operational excellence across departments and shifts. Provide technical leadership, empower your team, promote a safe work environment, and maintain productivity. Guide your team to achieve safety and productivity goals, manage labor and material costs, and oversee work orders using SAP and shift handoff documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute and be valued.
- Train and develop associates; build confidence and provide one‑on‑one and team coaching.
- Provide information and resources for decision‑making and problem solving.
- Document incidents requiring disciplinary action.
- Draft procedures, schedule work, and fill out administrative requests.
- Guide the team to reduce technical stoppages in equipment and high‑impact areas.
- Monitor plant/equipment trends and reduce downtime.
- Propose and monitor key performance indicators aligned with Best Maintenance Practices.
- Facilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Support site as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding Utilities, Facilities, or Production equipment maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience with proven coaching and team development.
- CMRP certification or direct experience in maintenance planning and/or supervision preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in computer systems; experience with SAP or AMM highly desirable.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and coaching skills.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and clarify complex issues.
- Proactive in identifying and recommending improvement opportunities.
The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000.00 to $. Final compensation may vary based on factors including knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
