Position Summary

As the Production Supervisor, you play a vital role in ensuring employee safety, maintaining product quality, and optimizing asset performance while adhering to the production schedule. You will lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions, champion continuous improvement initiatives across the plant, and foster proactive collaboration with other teams both on‑site and within the broader division. Your commitment to results will be evaluated through key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely implementation of the people development plan and verify team competencies with the Project Manager. This includes providing training on equipment operation, safety procedures, and hygiene practices; enforcing compliance with SOPs.
  • Maintain a safe work environment at all times and ensure that updated work instructions are available for all positions. Communicate and execute activities with environmental impact in accordance with environmental management protocols.
  • Achieve quality objectives by adhering to GMPs, conducting sanitation audits, performing food safety checks, and inspecting product quality as per company policies.
  • Prevent and correct quality‑related errors. Monitor and enforce personnel hygiene and safety practices, and continuously coach employees using the NCE approach.
  • Review daily target achievements, report deviations at on‑floor and review meetings, and develop action plans to address root causes. Facilitate smooth handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members, and Production Management.
  • Maintain continuous line controls, take corrective action to preserve quality standards, and comply with manufacturing instructions, regulations, procedures, and policies. Manage employee and industrial relations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Distribute skills effectively to achieve the production plan, coordinate timely product launches, and work with quality, engineering, and administration on facility maintenance. Review maintenance effectiveness daily and prioritize repairs to maximize efficiency.
Experience & Education Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant manufacturing or production work experience (military service counts).
  • 1‑3 years of production supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel – intermediate level).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and software systems.
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment through housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening).
  • Strong aptitude for building trusting, respectful relationships and open communication.
  • Adaptability to adjust your approach to meet varied task requirements and changing priorities.
  • Ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences and facilitate group coaching sessions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and capacity to motivate others through mentoring and coaching.
  • Skill in identifying both short‑term and long‑term development needs for individuals.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities with highly developed organizational skills.
  • Capacity to set effective and challenging objectives.
  • Physical demands: lift 15‑20 lb boxes repeatedly and stand for extended periods.

The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00. Final compensation may vary based on factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
