Shift supervisor, Manufacturing ​/ Production

2nd Shift Supervisor – Thermoforming, Extrusion and Coating Department (Franklin Park, IL)

• Support a safe and healthy work environment based on the plant’s safety action plan.
• Support quality initiatives based on customer specifications and the Customer Experience Pillar.
• Coordinate resources according to the daily operational schedule.
• Ensure accuracy of transactions within IQMS.
• Maintain proper time and attendance for 2nd shift employees.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics expectations based on machine and plant KPI’s.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using GPS Toolbox.
• Facilitate communication and employee engagement.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager and Human Resources on plant employee‑related concerns or grievances.

• Willing to work nights – 8‑hour shifts (Mon‑Fri) with occasional weekends.
• Supervisory experience in a union manufacturing environment.
• Bi‑lingual – Spanish & English (preferred)
• 3‑5 years of supervisory or operational leadership with progressive responsibilities.
• Experience in thermoforming/plastics processing.
• Degree preferred but not required.
