Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (+$0.75/hr)

* 3rd

Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (+$1.25/hr

Summary Description

 The Material Handler I is responsible for the movement and flow of raw
 materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within the Thermoforming
 department. This role plays a key part in keeping production running efficiently
 while maintaining a strong focus on safety, organization, and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products

* Perform roll splice operations

* Change and empty Gaylords and transport them to staging areas

* Inspect regrind material for contamination and ensure proper labeling

* Drain cyclones and socks to prevent material backup

* Stage rolls into roll carts and maintain proper material flow

* Operate forklifts, tugs, and pallet jacks safely

* Demonstrate knowledge of raw material types and handling procedures

* Follow all plant safety rules and guidelines

* Work closely with team members to meet production demands

* Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

* You can sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)

* You can lift up to 50 lbs as needed

* You are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying
    temperatures

* You have or are willing to wear steel-toe footwear

* You have experience in manufacturing (food, paper, plastic, or metal
    preferred)

* You have forklift experience in a manufacturing setting (2–3 years preferred)

* You have strong communication skills and work well in a team environment

* You are reliable and able to work overtime or weekends as needed
