Assembler in Franklin Park, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Assembler to join our team in Franklin Park, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for the assembly of low and medium voltage electrical switch gear cabinets for the manufacture of products to satisfy customer orders. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics, ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings, and more lifted below.

• Starting at $20/hour

• Located in Franklin Park, Illinois

• Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
• Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
• Read tape measure
• Experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)
• Experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
• Team player, able to work within a team environment
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Operate a forklift, with proper training
• Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are properly used based on the task
• Follow control document procedures
• Knowledge and understanding of the SAI Employee Handbook
• Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job

• Must have knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
• Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals
• Perform basic computer skills
• Must be a team player and have good attendance
• Must take direction, follow instruction and work with others with a positive attitude
• Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English with the level of competency that will permit the applicant to function in the position
