Inline Machine Operator
Compensation includes:
- Starting rate of $28-$36 per hour
Available shift:
- 7am-7pm
- 7pm-7am

Position summary:
The Inline Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the APET extrusion line from material preparation through former and trim press. This role ensures proper material handling, consistent sheet quality, and achievement of production standards.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor material systems including blender, crystallizer, and dryers.
- Safely operate extrusion equipment including extruder, melt pump, die, roll stack, former, and trim press.
- Monitor process conditions to maintain consistent product quality and throughput.
- Perform start-ups, and shutdowns in accordance with standard procedures, and assist with changeovers
- Identify and resolve routine process or quality issues.
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and shift leadership.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience required; plastics extrusion preferred.
- Experience with PET material handling systems preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization
- Must have the ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally as job demands
- Must have ability to work standing or walking, in a hot environment, for 12 hours with appropriate breaks.
