Pro Ampac, a global leader in flexible packaging, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee shift performance, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met while supporting Pro Ampac's innovative, sustainability-focused mission. You will coordinate staffing and machine assignments, troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor will coach and develop operators, promote a safety-first culture, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to deliver on customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production shift to meet safety, quality, and output targets
- Assign work, monitor machine performance, and resolve production issues
- Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety checks
- Train, coach, and evaluate production operators and leads
- Monitor material usage, waste, and line efficiency; implement improvements
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning to minimize downtime
- Review production reports and maintain accurate shift documentation
- Support continuous improvement, 5
- S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
