We are looking for reliable and meticulous individuals to join our manufacturing facility in Franklin Park as Kit Assemblers. You will be tasked with putting together medical kits, preparing items for shipment, and conducting quality checks within a high-speed production setting. Compensationand Logistics
The pay rate for this position is between $18.00 and $18.50 per hour. The work is located in Franklin Park, IL. We offer two shift options: a 2nd shift running from 3:00pm to 1:30am, or a weekend shift from 5:00am to 5:30pm (Friday through Sunday), where you will work 36 hours but receive compensation for a full 40-hour week.
PrerequisitesApplicants must provide a resume, complete an interview, pass a background screening, and possess legal authorization to work within the United States.
Core Duties- Construct medical kits by strictly adhering to established production guidelines.
- Ensure finished goods are properly secured in trays, pouches, or cartons to help maintain product integrity.
- Confirm that all components, labeling, and lot information are accurate prior to final packaging.
- Conduct visual checks to verify that every item aligns with our quality benchmarks.
- Prepare items for distribution by sealing and labeling them correctly.
- Keep precise records regarding production output and quality metrics.
- Ensure the assembly line remains stocked with necessary materials to prevent production delays.
- Help maintain a safe working environment by strictly following GMP and safety protocols.
- Keep your designated workspace tidy and orderly to improve overall team efficiency.
- Notify your supervisor immediately if you identify equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
- Collaborate effectively with your colleagues to ensure the team hits daily production targets.
- Demonstrate consistent reliability and punctuality.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly role is a plus.
- Background in pharmaceutical, food, or medical device production is highly valued.
- Ability to interpret and execute written assembly instructions.
- Maintain a high level of precision to ensure superior product quality.
- Basic computer literacy is considered an asset.
- Ability to operate effectively both as an individual contributor and as a team member.
- Remain standing or walking for the majority of your shift, with occasional opportunities to sit.
- Utilize your hands frequently for repetitive assembly and packaging movements.
- Lift and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds consistently, with occasional assistance for loads up to 50 pounds.
- Perform movements such as bending, reaching, and twisting throughout your shift.
- Possess the manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary for detailed assembly.
