Compensation

$15.50 to $18.50 per hour. Unlimited commission above base rate; up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.86 per hour.

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time retail sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. A retail sales associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, greets, engages, and processes sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.) as permitted by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible retail schedule (including weekends and holidays).
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Further details provided during interview.
