Warehouse Supervisor – Chicago East What You’ll DoYou’ll lead a team that moves fast, handles complexity, and delivers with excellence. As Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for guiding day‑to‑day operations in a high‑volume distribution center serving two iconic quick service restaurant brands. In This Role, You’ll- Plan, implement, and monitor the day‑to‑day operations for the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded.
- Monitor loading, dispatch, and receiving times and make appropriate changes, ensuring compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations.
- Inform and communicate routinely with associates to ensure compliance with established warehouse productivity, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Monitor and complete numerous computer‑based and manual reports and related paperwork, including time records, daily logs, damage reports, etc.
- Monitor product damage and audit routes to ensure reliable product delivery.
- Plan and schedule manpower.
- Plan and coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports.
- Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary.
- 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision.
- Lead a diverse workforce in a 24‑hour/7‑day per week operation.
- Work in a union environment.
- Supervise and motivate associates in a team‑based environment.
- Interpret warehouse operations anomalies and identify appropriate solutions.
- Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service.
- Act in accordance with GSF’s Values and Creed.
- Full‑time, on‑site supervisory role in a temperature‑controlled warehouse.
- Shift is 3:00 pm – 2:00 am, Sunday – Wednesday.
- Supports a 24/7 operation with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Leads a large‑scale warehouse team focused on safety, reliability, and service.
- Annual Salary: $65,000 – $70,000.
- Weekly pay (every Friday).
