** Position Summary
*** This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing on-farm infrastructure. Other duties may be assigned.
*
* Minimum Requirements:

*** Must have valid driver’s license.
* Fork lift certified or able to obtain certification.
* Maintain minimum point level of 6.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
* Responsible for preventive maintenance program for all farm vehicles and poultry houses **(50%)
*** These connect electrical wiring and cables; installs lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, wall boxes, and terminal boards **(20%)
*** These adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments; repairs or replaces defective parts; reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor **(20%)
**** Other Duties, Responsibilities, and

Activities:

*** These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as:
Maintain and assist with housekeeping standards in the working areas; inspect birds to determine quality and progress by weighing birds weekly; sanitation of storage areas, breakroom, boot rooms, equipment, and vehicles, cleaning incinerators; moving birds, grounds-keeping and organizing breeder tags; properly euthanize selected or weak/ill birds  in accordance with company policy;
Follow lock out tag out guidelines and procedures when performing activities that require lock out tag out; performs generator test runs each week; participate in trainings necessary to increase job performance **(10%)
