Reach Truck Operator - Reach; Yale | 1st Shift

Position Overview

The Reach Truck Operator (1st Shift) operates YALE Reach equipment in a culturally diverse, high-volume health science distribution environment. The site represents 31 nationalities and provides multilingual work instructions (English, Spanish, Arabic). This is a dedicated Reach-only operator role. Pay Rate: $18.75/hr schedule:
Monday-Friday | OT on Saturdays | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

Temporary-to-Permanent. Conversion: 420 hours or 90 days.

Theft, Violence, Drugs screened. Equipment: YALE Reach Forklift (facility-standard).

• Safely operate Yale Reach forklift equipment as assigned
• Move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise according to client directives
• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report defects to supervision
• Work from work orders, pick lists, and system-generated tasks
• Ensure accurate inventory movement and cycle count participation
• Maintain safe speeds and safe operating distances at all times
• Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and inventory control teams
• Adhere to all Geodis safety standards and PPE requirements

• Minimum 6 months verifiable Reach forklift experience required
• Experience on Yale or Crown equipment preferred (identical controls)
• Ability to pass Geodis equipment safety assessment
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-rack environment
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Willingness to work OT on Saturdays as needed
• Must pass criminal background check (theft, violence, drug offences screened)
