Painter

Painter position at Fort Campbell, KY
. This role involves painting interiors and exteriors of military housing and fulfilling related site responsibilities. This position is at a federal facility; a REAL  driver’s license is required for access.

• Paint both the exterior and interior of homes, common areas, community offices, and buildings.
• Perform all painting according to management schedules.
• Apply texture to ceilings and walls using an air texture applicator and hopper.
• Ensure proper protection of unpainted surfaces via drop cloths, tarps, tape, masking, and paint shields.
• Maintain a vehicle/paint equipment inventory and supplies.
• Maintain all equipment clean and neat.
• Attend trainings, workshops, and meetings as required.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Current driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record per Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Knowledge of surface types and paints/sealants for different applications.
• Knowledge of multiple painting methods (brushes, rollers, sprayers).
• Ability to pass a physical exam for respirator health and capacity if using sprayers.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
• Basic computer knowledge.

• Vocational or technical training.
• 1–3 years of trade or apprenticeship experience.
