The Security Technicianinstallsandservicessecuritysystemsat customer job sites,activates systems for monitoring,and ensures client satisfaction fromfirst install through ongoing support. This role requires the ability to troubleshootallaspects ofsecurityand surveillance system sand to represent
Bravasprofessionally in high-profile, high-demand client homes. The ideal candidate brings strongtechnicalandproblem-solving skillsand embodies our six core values: collaborative,accountable,proactive, curious, passionate,and creative.
- Processes incoming service requestsanddeterminesurgency.
- Customizes systems for connectivity and follows city/state requirements foralarmsandsecurityplans.
- Remotely accesses customer system sand repairs network-based solutions.
- Sets up remote monitoring system sand enrolls customers inservice or monitoring plans.
- Works with the Service Manage rand others to trackandeliminaterecurring issues.
- Coordinates with manufacturer
Tech Supportandadvanced replacements as needed. - Supports small projects involving upselland replacement sales.
- Determines and collects billable laborand materialsasapplicable.
- Coordinates with buyers to ensureaccurateprocurement of required parts.
- Setsaccuratetime clock entries and job costing.
- Provides client training and deliversahigh standard of customer service.
- Participates in the on-call rotation,as required.
- Travels locally to job sitesasrequired.
- Maintains fiscal responsibility forallassetsassignedandproperty within the Technician's care.
- Performs other dutiesasassigned.
- High school diplomaor equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record,andability to passacriminal background check.
- Securitylicenseor relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skillsand the ability to work effectively inateam environment.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in in-housejob management software.
- Strong troubleshooting skillsacrosssecurityand surveillance systems.
- Customer service skills, including the ability to work with high-profile and high-demand customers.
- Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security.
- Adherence tostateand federal laws, including traffic laws.
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, or bending may be required.
- Must beable to liftand carry up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work in tight spacesandat ladder height.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to hotand cold temperatures.
