Boscov’s Housekeeping/Custodial Associate

As a Retail Housekeeping Associate, you are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the building, including the restrooms, selling floor, office spaces, and other common areas.

• Present a courteous and professional demeanor to customers and coworkers
• Dust the selling floor (both high and low)
• Maintain carpets and tile floors using commercial grade equipment
• Sweep, collect trash and recycle material
• Pick up trash from registers and offices
• Dust mop and wet mop floors and vacuum rugs
• Wipe down cafeteria tables, empty trash cans, dry/wet mop floors
• Clean and sanitize, restock restroom supplies, empty trash cans in restrooms

• 1-2 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

• Moderate lifting (up to 35 lbs.)
• Sit, stand, and walk for required periods of time
• Ability to reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate tools and/or controls

• Starting Rate: $15.15 per hour
