Maintenance Manager, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
Facilities Manager
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Facilities Manager to join our large commercial real estate client. This is a 3-month contract to start with potential for extension. Pay: $40.00 - $45.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
As a Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or a portfolio of small to medium‑sized buildings. This role requires strong coordination, operational oversight, and the ability to maintain productive client relationships while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day facility performance.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily work orders and ensure timely completion and quality of service.
- Manage projects related to facility operations, maintenance, and improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, ensuring clear communication and strong partnership.
- Coordinate building operations across HVAC, engineering, plumbing, and plant operations.
- Utilize technology and internal systems to track work, manage tasks, and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support facility needs.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient operating environment.
- Strong time-management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use technology and work within digital systems
- Experience in HVAC, engineering, plumbing, or running plant operations
- Additional experience in HVAC, engineering, plumbing, or plant operations (beyond the minimum requirements)
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- College degree preferred
- Ability to work within digital systems
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
