Facilities Manager

Russell Tobin's client, a real estate company, is hiring a Facilities Manager in Fredericksburg, VA.

Pay Rate: $41 - $44.83 per hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Arrangement:
Onsite

Contract Length:
Approximately 90 days, with potential for extension and possible permanent hire based on business needs and performance.

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of a commercial facility. This role is ideal for a facilities professional with strong leadership, project management, and building systems experience.

• Oversee building operations and maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility.
• Manage work orders and coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and service providers.
• Lead facility-related projects from planning through completion.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to maintain critical building systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for facility stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and operational procedures.

• 5+ years of facilities management or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, engineering, plumbing, and plant operations.
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to work within facility management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience managing commercial building operations or engineering teams is a plus.

• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
