Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance
Burrow Global is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a petrochemical client in Freeport, TX.
The Maintenance Planner is accountable for creating and providing accurate job plans for each scheduled job to includes parts, labor, instructions, or any other pertinent information to ensure safe, effective and efficient maintenance to support the plant’s production capabilities and the completion of capital projects. This position coordinates the timing of all required resources, both internal and external, to ensure the work can successfully be completed while maximizing resource allocation and minimizing equipment downtime.
Maintenance/SchedulerPlanner Functional Role
- Ensures planning activities are aligned with EHS compliance requirements
- Develops work packages and templates for maintenance jobs with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of maintenance work
- Reviews work requests with Production to identify all potential issues/reduce added scope
- Maintains accurate equipment specifications, info, parts lists (BOMs), and equipment maintenance history in ERP/CMMS and SAP
- Maintains and manages work order backlog
- Evaluates job feedback to improve future work plans
- Serves as a resource to maintenance technicians for job execution
- Supports the tracking and achievement of the planning KPIs
- Confirms material availability and coordinates parts/materials delivery and staging
- Manages and achieves metrics including:
- Planning productivity.
- Work Order Delays.
- Plan accuracy/quality.
- Planned Backlog.
- Participates in post PM and completed Work Order quality reviews
- Ensures that jobs are scheduled to satisfy all Corporate Quality Requirements and ISO
9001 Quality Management System - Practice Responsible Care 14001 through active participation in the Responsible Care Management System and adhere to the Guiding Principles of Responsible Care 14001
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or NCCER equivalent required (certified technician)
- Preferred five years general craft experience (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning in SAP
Skills:
- Operational knowledge of ERP/CMMS; experience with SAP PM; experience with Prometheus
- Office software e.g. MS Office
Note:
Candidates must be within driving distance of Freeport, TX. No per diem is being offered on this position
