Fleet maintenance mechanics perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailer semi units, ensuring a safe fleet and compliance with all trucking regulations. Responsibilities include maintenance on brakes, trailer doors, welding, tires, suspension, electrical lighting, and engine repair.

The applicant must possess a DOT health card and have their own tools. Computer skills are preferred for data entry into maintenance systems. Vocational or Technical certification is preferred, along with the ability to perform vehicle diagnostics using scan tools.

CDL is required, with the ability to attain CDL-A within 18 months.

Note:

4-day work week - 10-hour shifts, with occasional overtime.

The starting rate is $30/hr.
