Position Overview

Service Professional – Pest Control Technician

Location:

San Mateo, CA (road in the area around San Mateo, CA). The position reports to the main office in Fremont, CA once per week.

• Hourly wage: $23.50 – $25.50 per hour
• Uncapped customer upgrade and referral bonuses

• Ability to work outside in the local area, including following the assigned route every other Saturday

• Run a daily route, resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for customers, implementing the most efficient pest solutions
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of any issues encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use and keep the product backpack (approximately 50lb) ready for route work

• High school diploma or equivalent
• US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past four years)
• Drug test and background check performed on all new hires
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided
