About the Role

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a global leader in electronics manufacturing to hire a Facilities Manager for its Fremont, CA operation. This position will oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of a large manufacturing facility while ensuring critical building systems remain operational to support production.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity responsible for managing facility operations, leading in-house maintenance teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across HVAC, electrical infrastructure, and building systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation and maintenance of facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
  • Lead and develop in-house facilities personnel, including maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and other facilities support teams.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
  • Monitor and manage electrical infrastructure, power distribution, backup power systems, UPS equipment, and other critical utilities supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate facility repairs, maintenance projects, inspections, and contractor activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, EHS, and operations teams to quickly identify, elevate, and resolve facility-related issues impacting production.
  • Manage facility budgets, vendor relationships, service contracts, and capital improvement projects while maintaining high service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards while driving continuous improvement throughout facility operations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing facilities within a manufacturing, industrial, semiconductor, electronics, medical device, aerospace, automotive, or similar environment.
  • Proven experience managing large facilities with multiple building systems, including HVAC, electrical infrastructure, and power management systems.
  • Experience leading in-house facilities teams, including maintenance technicians, building engineers, janitorial staff, or similar personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, facility operations, and building system reliability.
  • Experience supporting power management systems, including electrical distribution, backup power, generators, and UPS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, think quickly under pressure, and proactively elevate issues to minimize operational downtime.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing campuses or multi-building facilities.
  • Experience using CMMS or other maintenance management systems.
  • Experience managing facility capital improvement projects and operational budgets.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and power management within high-volume manufacturing environments.
